Vendor Fair Recap
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer (or winter for my Aussie friends). I'm writing from rainy New Jersey today. Yes, it's that time of year again when I go visit the family. Although I'm running around trying to catch up with everyone, I find I have more down time than when I'm home so I figured this would be a good time to blog about the vendor fair I did in July.
I survived my first vendor fair in July. I worked my butt off and it was such a great learning experience - I even sold some stuff! I would like to do craft fairs or farmers markets in the future. Each year our local city park hosts a fall fest. I'd love to get into that.
Here are the few photos I took of my table. I was only expecting one table but when I got there, I had two waiting for me. At first, I was a bit intimidated because I didn't think I could fill them but it ended up being a lot better. Having the second table allowed me to spread out the tote bags which was excellent because I had no way to hang them.
Probably the best part of prepping for the fair was finally getting an inventory together. I have a habit of giving things away, especially for holidays and birthdays, and that made it difficult to have a significant amount of items to sell. Now, I'm all set!
Originally, I planned on having the Etsy and Meylah shops open by the beginning of August but due to technical issues (terrible photos) that didn't happen. Now that summer school is over, I'm hoping to get some good shots outside with natural light. In the meantime, here's one of the products I will be selling.
In addition to magnet sets, I will also be selling push pin sets. They make great ready-made gifts :)
Well, it's time for me to meet up with some friends.
Happy crafting :)
